| For every redundantly stored entity type, an application component is determined as the master application component for this entity type. Thus, data about entities of this type can only be inserted, deleted, or changed in this master application component. Application component that contains the original data about a given entity type. In case of redundant data storage, other application components may hold copies of these data, but these data can only be inserted, deleted, or changed in this master application component; data integrity in the other application components has to be maintained by communicating new copies of the original data to the other application components. @en |
